Christine Mayes

Senior Solicitor

Christine holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from James Cook University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology.

Christine has worked exclusively in family law, domestic violence, and child protection since she was admitted to practice law in 2018. She has experience in complex parenting and property matters, including where parties have high value property pools and intricate financial arrangements involving businesses and family trusts. Christine is a strong believer in trauma-informed practice, having spent almost two years working in the community legal sector with particularly vulnerable clients before joining the MobbsMarr Legal team in December 2023.

Christine is a born and bred Townsville local, and understands the unique issues faced by separating families in this region.
